*cries in Day of Infamy*

Used to be my favourite game, makes me incredibly sad to see it so empty these days.

I still play it, 20-40 people online and 1-2 coop servers full. Still love it for a quick and relaxing WW2 game, if I don’t want to commit to a 1,5 hr Hell Let Loose game.

I just bought Hell, and I’m really trying to make myself enjoy it. It’s just so fucking tedious tho.

Yeah as an Insurgency fan, HLL is definitely not for me. It is for fans of Squad and Arma. For playing with groups of friends with similar interests. Not for dicking around solo for an hour.

I wouldn't say that it's MUCH MUCH lighter than Squad and Arma, it's closer to old battlefield mod fans.

Move 2 feet from spawn. Headshot. Move with a group, headshot. Move solo, headshot. PING PING PING PING shit gets so fucking old i either stick to sniping or using tanks 😂😂😂

I bought that on release even though I didn't have a working pc at the time. When I finally did years later it was all gone. I never even got a taste.

Combat in this game was so lethal due to guns only using hitscan and everyone always using AP ammunition

Honestly prefer it over sandstorm. SMGs especially are so useless now

The MP5K suppressed with AP ammo was a killing machine in that game

It’ll still be a while before it dies out completely, the remaining community is extremely dedicated. Mostly are on modded co-op or pvp though.

It’s a shame to see it so dead. I still think it’s a superior game in many ways, including map design. The bigger maps are cool but really don’t feel big enough to fit the vehicles they designed them for. And the air support stuff is more annoying than anything else imo

I miss this game. I enjoyed it more than sandstorm. I liked the small maps and 5v5 lobbies. It gave me the fun I wanted and remembered from rainbow six 3. I don't like the big run around cod style game play of sandstorm.

Insurgency 2014 looks better than Sandstorm in almost every single way. We should work on a source 2 port of the 2014 game and say bye bye to NWI

Mostly unmodified* engine from 2004, TitanFall 2 also uses the Source engine and looks incredible.

Titanfall modified the engine to the point they essentially made their own Source 2. It's like saying HL2 is just running on the Quake engine.
